Jailbreak Firmware 3.1.3 on the iphone 2G/3G/3GS with Sn0wbreeze on Windows

The new version of Sn0wbreeze has been published (V1.4) and allows the jailbreak firmware 3.1.3. Here's a guide that lets you launch the Jailbeak of this new Firmware on Windows for iPhone 2G/3G/3GS (except models with the new iBoot).

Update: The software has been updated to version 1.5.2

Download and Requirements:

- Sn0wbreeze 1.5.2 (HERE).

- Firmware 3.1.3 for your iPhone (IPHONE2G, IPHONE3, IPHONE3GS).

-  The latest version of iTunes (HERE).

- iReb for 16xx errors (see end of tutorial).

Installation: (same steps as version 3.1.2) :

1. Launch Sn0wbreeze (we remind users of Windows Vista and seven7 that you should run the application in Administrator mode, for this right click on mouse -> Properties -> Compatibility tab -> check the box below " excuter this program as administrator ") and connect your iphone PC. the first image is displayed:

2. Click on the arrow to advance to the next step. We now have to choose between Easy and Expert mode. Select "Simple Mode" and click the arrow to continue.

3. At this point we must choose the Firmware to select, then click "Browse", find the firmware you downloaded earlier and click Open. The software will automatically select the device according to jailbreak firmware selected. click Next.

4. At this point, if you make a jailbreak for the iPhone, the application asks if you want to activate your iPhone:

     If you have iPhone 3G/3GS French: select NO;
     If you have iPhone 3G/3GS Abroad: Select YES;

5. Click Start to proceed with the creation of custom firmware

  

6. The application takes a few minutes to create the custom firmware, then close the software.

  

7. Then, turn off, restart Snn0wbreeze, click Help, then click the "DFU Mode" to enable the guide to go into DFU mode: Even if you know how to do it, do it by following these instructions, believe me if you want to avoid errors during the restore firmware is better!

8. Open iTunes and you'll see a warning message telling you that you have connected an iPhone in recovery mode, click OK and continue.

9. Simultaneously press the ALT key and SHIFT key on your keyboard and smiled with the RESTORE button in iTunes.

10. A small window opens, and you will just have to select the custom firmware 3.1.3 that you created and go!

11. We finished! :-) Now you have a firmware iPhone updated to the latest version (3.1.3)

EDIT: Errors 16xx iTunes

1600: Error when you are in DFU mode, iTunes will not restore because the servers have detected that something was wrong with this firmware!

iReb is here to bypass this error so if for example you have an iPhone 3G launch iReb quit iTunes and click on "iPhone 3G" then click "open iTunes" 

Unfortunately iReb for iPhone 3G is under development and is therefore not yet available

1604: Error when you are in restore mode "iTunes Logo + USB cable to the screen."

As for the error 1600 that requires iReb!
