New additions to iOS 4.3

The latest firmware for iDevices Apple released later in the month of March.

The main new features:

1. Adding a large number of new APIs for video streaming technology. It will be easier to stream directly to your TV videos.

2. New multi-touch iPad! With for example:

•      The ability to touch the screen with 4 or 5 fingers to the home screen;

•      Make a slide up to see the bar multitasking (rather than double-clicking the Home button);

•      Make a slide left and right to switch between open applications in multitasking. 

 3. The iPhone can be used as a WiFi HotSpot! This function is useful to be able to use the iPhone as a WiFi Router by sharing its 3G connection with devices connected to its network (as with MyWi)

4. FaceTime new icon for the iPod Touch

5. By decrypting the firmware, it appears new effects for the camera:

•      thermal camera

•      X-ray

•      kaleidoscope

•      normal

•      Tunnel of Light

•      reduce

•      turbine

•      enlarge

6. Possibility to choose the function associated with the button lattéral the iPad: stop rotation or mute.

7. Added ability to choose the frequency of the ringing reminder SMS

8. The option to enable or disable the location service has been moved: it is now early in the setup screen, just below Notifications.

9. The shutter sound when taking a photo was changed.

10. The keyboard is now semi-transparent and it seems to be more sensitive ...

11. The screen update from the App Store has been revised:

13.When you receive an SMS, the iPhone vibrates throughout the ring (unlike before where there was only one short buzz).
