Orbu: a golf in AR all cute and full of little cats that roll (App Store release)

New ARKit compatible games do not jostle at the door of the App Store; but sometimes, fortunately, a little indie nugget reminds us that augmented reality is not just about making nice demos or live videos with a tyrannosaur walking on the road. Orbu (Link App Store – 2.99 $ - iPhone / iPad) is a game of golf AR quite original because as a golf ball we are left with small chaming animals that roll in a ball before each move played (a kitten, a turtle, a panda, etc.), all in environments inspired by Japanese gardens that also contain some surprises.

Better yet, these particularly animated environments are displayed in AR, which allows for example to physically turn around the animal ball to find the best angle of fire. With an iPhone X, the integration of AR elements on the living room table is extremely accurate and we take a real pleasure to approach as much as possible of these little balls of hair that are waiting to be swayed to the other end of the circuit.

The cute graphics, the simple and addictive gameplay as well as a global realization well over 90% of the AR apps available in the store make Orbu a nice little surprise at the end of the year. that will really appeal to everyone in the family, big or small. Recommended.
