The Warner Bros
will fully exploit his license Harry Potter; after the announcement a few weeks
ago of the title Wizards Unite developed by Niantic Labs (Pokemon Go), the
Warner confirms having signed a new deal with another mobile studio, Jam City,
a specialist in mobile games adapted to large licenses (Futurama, Avengers, etc
...).
Jam City was
commissioned to develop a second Harry Potter game called Hogwarts Mystery; no
augmented reality this time but adventure-packed RPG that will put the player
in the shoes of a Hogwarts magician student.
If we stick to
the previous titles of Jam City, Hogwarts Mystery should be a freemium game (with
many in-app purchases) and we hope that it will not be too much loose stock to
progress in the adventure . Apart from this announcement and the
"general" framework of the gameplay (very general), Jam City does not
provide any other information on its next title. Hogwarts Mystery should be
available on iOS and Android during the year 2018.
